Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Sentinel GPT ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

The Service is operated by Global AI Sentinel LLC ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Sentinel GPT is an AI-powered chat assistant designed for law enforcement and professional use. The Service provides:

• General AI chat assistance
• Legal research and document analysis (requires account)
• Interview preparation tools (requires account)
• Professional report writing assistance (requires account)
• Document upload and analysis (Pro tier)

3. AI Output Disclaimer

The Services may generate automated text, responses, or other output using artificial intelligence ("AI Output"). AI Output is provided solely for informational purposes, on an "AS-IS" basis, and is not intended to constitute legal, financial, compliance, investment, medical, or other professional advice.

Users agree not to rely on AI Output for decision-making without independently verifying such information. SentinelGPT disclaims all liability for any reliance placed on AI Output.

If the Service includes modes labeled "Legal Assistant" or similar, these provide general information only and do not create an attorney-client relationship. Always consult a licensed professional for specific legal, medical, financial, or other professional matters.

Users acknowledge that reliance on AI Output for legal, medical, financial, or other professional decisions without independent verification is at their sole risk and constitutes misuse of the Service. SentinelGPT is a productivity tool for research and drafting assistance, not a replacement for professional judgment or licensed counsel.

4. User Accounts

Account Creation: You may use the Service without an account (with limited features) or create a free account for full access to all modes and features.

Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe upon the rights of others
• Transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Use the Service for automated scraping or data mining
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Upload content that violates intellectual property rights

5. Subscription Tiers & Billing

Free Tier: Limited to 10 messages per day with General mode only. No account required.

Starter (Free Account): 100 messages per day, all modes, document uploads (10/month, 10MB each).

Pro ($29/month): 1,000 messages per day, 100 uploads per month (50MB each), priority support.

Enterprise ($99/month): Unlimited usage, dedicated support, custom features.

Subscriptions automatically renew monthly. You may cancel at any time. No refunds for partial months.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Global AI Sentinel LLC and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Trademarks: "Sentinel GPT" and "Global AI Sentinel" are trademarks of Global AI Sentinel LLC. Trademark applications are pending.

7. Content, Ownership & Data

7.1 User Input Ownership

As between SentinelGPT and the user, you retain ownership of all User Input(prompts, questions, and content you submit), excluding anonymized system-level analytics.

By providing User Input, you grant SentinelGPT a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to store, process, and use such User Input solely for the purpose of operating, maintaining, and improving the Services.

7.2 AI Output Rights

Subject to these Terms, users receive a perpetual, worldwide license to use AI Output for any lawful internal business purpose. SentinelGPT retains all rights in and to the underlying models, systems, and technology.

AI Output is provided for informational purposes only. We make no warranties about accuracy, completeness, or suitability for specific purposes.

7.3 Data Retention

Anonymous sessions do not retain conversation history. For logged-in accounts, we retain conversation transcripts to provide chat history and service support. By default, conversations are archived after 90 days of inactivity and permanently deleted after an additional 90 days, unless a longer retention is required by contract, required by law, or a legal hold applies.

7.4 Legal Requests

If we receive a valid legal request (such as a subpoena or court order), we may be required to preserve or disclose certain records. We will limit disclosure to what is legally required and, where permitted, may notify the affected account. If a legal hold applies, deletion requests and scheduled deletion may be suspended.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event will SentinelGPT be liable for lost profits, loss of data, or indirect, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

Liability Cap: SentinelGPT's aggregate liability under these Terms shall not exceed the fees paid by the user within the prior three (3) months.

Indemnification: Users agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SentinelGPT and Global AI Sentinel LLC from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from: (a) misuse of the Service, (b) illegal use, (c) violation of these Terms, or (d) unauthorized reliance on AI Output.

10. Security Framework

SentinelGPT implements commercially-reasonable security controls, including:

• Encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+)
• Encryption at rest for sensitive data
• Role-based access control with activity logging
• Internal incident-response procedures

We will notify affected users of a data security breach consistent with applicable law. See our Security page for more details. References to security certifications or compliance standards do not constitute a warranty.

11. Children's Use (COPPA)

The Service is not directed to or intended for children under the age of 13.We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If we learn that personal information from a child under 13 has been collected, we will delete it promptly. Parents or guardians may contact us at support@globalaisentinel.com to request removal.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
